Product Summary

This sturdy Better Built 14-gauge steel diesel fuel 75-gallon transfer tank features a built-in lockable toolbox for storing tools and equipment. Tank also features a lockable cap, reinforced bungs, lifting eyes, durable powder-coat finish and more. Tank is 100% pressure and submersion tested. Built-in baffles add strength while preventing the contents from shifting too quickly. Comes with GPI 12V DC electric pump with up to 15 GPM flow rate. Rotary gear pump is made of lightweight, durable cast aluminum and can be used with diesel fuel and kerosene. Not to be connected to existing fuel system. Tank is not intended for use with gasoline or other flammable fuels.

  1. Tank is not intended for use with gasoline or other flammable fuels. But can be use for diesel that is flammable ? help me understand what i am missing.

    1. Per DOT, diesel is considered a combustible liquid, not a flammable liquid

    2. Diesel has a much higher flashpoint than gasoline. Diesel has a flashpoint higher than 199.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Gasoline has a flashpoint of -45 degrees Fahrenheit.

    1. The fuel pump will be wired to a 12 volt DC power source. For temporary wiring, connect the red and black power cords to alligator clips (not included). For permanent wiring, connection the red and black power cords to terminal post rings (not included).
