An engineer's hammer, also known as a drilling hammer or a mini sledgehammer, is a versatile tool used for heavy hammering and demolition tasks, including driving stakes, wedges, and spikes, as well as breaking concrete, stone, and metal. Its design, featuring a relatively short handle and a heavy head, allows for controlled, powerful strikes in confined spaces. Stainless steel is a tough and durable material, capable of withstanding heavy use and impact. Beta INOX tools are constructed of magnetic stainless steel (AISI 420), expertly heat-treated to achieve industrial grade strength. Stainless steel is easy to clean and maintain, making it a good choice for applications where hygiene is important such a clean rooms and the food production.
