    1. The deicer has not been tested for use as a ballast in tractor tires. The weight would be 325 ounces per gallon.

    1. There would not be any one of the de-icing products recommended over the other for a new driveway. They would all be safe to use and are biodegradable.

    1. It is not recommended to mix this with a dry rock salt. This can cause clumping of the rock salt and make it difficult to spread.

    1. You would use 1 gallon per 1000 square feet. If using before snow or ice, you would use a mist, if using on a patch of snow or ice, you would apply a stream to the patch.
