    1. It's painted. I've had mine for a few months, seems to be holding up for now.

    3. This is not a dump trailer and has basically a heavy screen base. You can however take the sides off. I have carried loads of dirt, sticks, leaves by putting a tarp inside first, then taking off the back or side and rolling the tarp to empty.

  4. Is there a liner or way to allow trailer use for dirt, sand, mulch and gravel?

    1. I purchased a livestock mat and cut it to protect the mesh on bottom and sides of trailer. I have used it for hauling gravel. 

      For sand I’d buy as I expensive tarp to line the inside. Should work great.

  7. Can the axles accept a single wide tire and wheel assembly?

    A wider tire is needed to allow the unit to flow over soft wet areas easier.

    1. I don't know whether the axles can accept a single tire, but I do know that I travelled through thick mud and ruts and the tires seemed to handle this ok. Yes, with all the mud it looked like I had only one wide tire on each side by the time I was done, but the mud eventually just fell off. Didn't seem to affect the ride at all..

    When the time comes to replace the tires, what brand are they? What size are they? And where can they be purchased?

    1. This Bannon Utility Trailer is made by Tricam Industries Incorporated. The tire size is 18 x 4-10 with a 1" bore. The replacement wheel/tire, part number MSTW0358, is available through our sister company, Jacks Small Engines. Please visit www.JacksSmallEngines.com for pricing and availability.

    2. Replacement parts can be purchased by calling our parts department at 1-800-657-0516. The parts department is open Monday through Friday 7 am to 6 pm Central time and on Saturday 8 am to 3 pm. The part number is MSTW0358 which is made by Tricam Industries Incorporated. The tire size is 18 x 4-10 with a 1" bore.

  10. What is the recommended torque to use when tightening axle nuts?

    1. Didnt tighten them too much, just enough to hold them in place without wobbling and able to turn freely and then put the cotter pin in

    2. When installing the axle/castle nuts, they should not be torqued on. This could crush the roller bearings. The castle nuts should be initially hand tightened then slightly loosened to allow the locking pin to be inserted in the next/nearest open hole.
