if I was to invest in this product , how many do I need for a 6,800 sq ft Gymnasium and do they have a fan guard for ball protection ?
1 answer-
BannonExpert12· 11 months ago
Each fan cools up to 1,200 square feet. For optimal airflow and safety, there should be a minimum of 8.5' of clearance from the floor to the bottom of the fan blades. There should be a minimum of 10" between the blades and the ceiling and at least 24" of clearance from the wall and other fans or obstructions. We do not offer a fan guard for ball protection, at this time.

Two questions- The description states for use in warehouses, barns etc. However, the manual states not to use it where dust, gas vapors etc exist. Which is it? #2 a recent review were able to have their fans wired to a switch is this acceptable?
1 answer-
BannonExpert12· 2 years ago
This fan can be used in warehouses, barns and other large open areas. The manufacturer just wants users to be aware of risks using this fan near flammable liquids, gases and dust where they could potentially cause a fire or explosion. Because this fan does require a hardwired electrical connection, it can be wired to a switch. We recommend installation be done by a licensed electrician.
