  1. What physical size (W x L x H) does the battery need to be? I see from another question that I want 12v, 18ah but I've found different sizes that meet those requirements.

    1. The Banjo 205PH‑5‑160E uses a 12‑volt U1‑case battery about 7.75 × 5.125 × 6.25 inches.

  2. What is the MINIMUM GPM this can do?

    1. There is not a specific minimum GPM rating on the pump. The pump will have a GPM range from 190-216 GPM. You may reduce the GPM by lowering the RPM on the pump. This will also decrease the suction. Reducing the hose size decreases the GPM, but will cause back pressure to the pump. This intern will lessen the life of the pump and may void the manufacturer's warranty.

    1. The water pump can be used to pump salt brine, but will need to be flushed with fresh water after.

    1. The water pump will require a 12 volt battery with a minimum amp hour rating of 18 Ah.

    1. The suction hose/inlet should not be allowed to clog. Clogging could cause damage to both the pump and engine.

    1. The pump could be used with DEF fluid.

  8. where is battery charge, search pulled this product stating it had self start and alternator?

    1. The water pump is electric start, the battery will self-charge when the water pump is running. It does not include a battery. You would need to purchase a battery separately for it. There is a plate on the water pump that the battery will sit on. It also has recoil start as a backup.
