    1. Swing over bed is the maximum diameter of a workpiece that can be placed on the lathe and rotated around its axis. It allows the workpiece to spin without hitting the bed. This lathe can handle a workpiece up to 7" in diameter.

  2. 5hp?  That cannot possibly be correct at the wattage this lathe runs at.  Are you sure you didn’t drop a decimal somewhere?

  5. I am also very interested in this lathe, I would like to know what the spindle bore size is. Are the jaws on the chucks reversible? Cross over travel distance?

    1. The spindle bore is 3/4". The cross slide travel is 2.559". The jaws are not meant to be reversed.

    1. This lathe has a digital readout to show spindle speed. It includes 3-jaw and 4-jaw chucks to hold rounded and square materials. It has a standard style tool post. It also includes a steady-rest and follow-rest to prevent wobbling and maintain accuracy. It is equipped with a splash guard and a catch pan as well.
