    1. A 3/8-16 mandrel, nuts and nose piece are available directly through the manufacturer for this hand rivet nut setter kit. The part number is 14422-3/8-16A.

  3. What is the length of the mandrels? I have purchased some rivetnuts for materials up to 1/4 inch thickness, (fiberglass, wood, plastic, etc.) but my current nut setter mandrels are not long enough to reach the threads. Several projects currently on hold!

    1. The overall length of the mandrel is 1.9” and the exposed length is 0.7”.

    1. There are a total of 60 rivet nuts. This will be 10 rivet nuts per size of mandrel/nose piece sets. Additional rivet nuts can be purchased through the manufacturer directly.

  5. Are mandrel/nosepieces available for 6-32 and 8-32 rivnuts?

    1. The manufacturer does not have a 6-32 mandrel/nosepiece for this kit; however, they do have the 8-32 mandrel/nosepiece available. The part number is 1442-8/32A. At this time, this part is not available through Northern Tool.
