Product Summary

The DVAG11-DF wall heater from Ashley Hearth Products makes the perfect solution for zoned heating. The space-saving direct vent furnace design mounts to an exterior wall and the adjustable vent assembly adjusts to fit walls from 4-1/2in. to 10in. thick. For clean, comfortable heat when and where you want it, the gas flame is completely sealed inside, away from all contact with room air. Air necessary for combustion is drawn into the chamber from outside through the vent and combustion products are vented directly to the outside. Only clean, gentle heat, in continuous circulation is delivered into the room. Windows and doors stay closed because no room air is used for combustion. The direct vent dual fuel wall furnace is designed to heat up to 375 Sq. Ft.

  2. Is this unit also controls by a thermostat bulb? I understand I cant choose an exact temp, but by setting the dial it will maintain a temp close to that level im the room correct? Shutting itself off and turning itself back on, without losing the pilot?

    1. The DVAG11‑DF uses a dial and internal sensor to cycle the main burner to keep the room near the chosen setting, while a safety pilot and regulator keep the pilot lit and shut off gas if the pilot goes out.

    1. There is no electricity needed for this unit, unless you add the optional blower.

  4. will this unit work at high altitudes 6000-7000' ? are high altitude modifications necessary? If they are , are the parts included?

    1. The DVAG11-DF comes with an extra blank orifice that can be drilled out to the size needed for your altitude. A certified gas technician would be needed to determine the exact size and to drill and install it.
