    1. It would be 220/230 volt rated for compressors up to 3 horsepower.

  3. A 2hp motor requires a 30 amp breaker. This switch is rated up to 15 amp. Won't that throw the breaker?

    1. This can be wired for 115 Volt compressors up to 2HP and 230 Volt compressors up to 3 HP with a maximum of 15 Amps.

    1. This air pressure switch shuts off at a specified pressure. The switch has a fixed range of 100 PSI for on and off.

  5. To what connection on the compressor does the unloader tube connect to?

    1. This pressure switch's smaller port connects to the check valve. Its larger port connects to the compressor tank (which allows it to shut off the compressor when the tank is full).

    1. The switch has a fixed range of 100 PSI for on and off. The on and off range cannot be adjusted individually.

    1. To adjust the pressure on the Air Pressure Switch with ON/OFF Switch for Single-Stage and Dual-Stage Air Compressor you would turn the range nut (the large nut centered below the set screws) clockwise to raise the cut-in and cut-out pressure and counterclockwise to lower it.

    1. The Air Pressure Switch will require a 1/4" line rated for 125 PSI. The line is not included. We do not offer this line.

  9. Can you adjust pressure

    Sometimes I need more pressure. Can the switch be adjusted to prefered level, lower or higher?

    1. The switch for this unit is adjustable however the maximum allowable pressure rating is 220 PSI (Pressure Per Square Inch) it is preset between 60 and 160 PSI with 125 PSI recommend for the unit.

    does it use the 1/4" NPT fitting i see on the bottom center of the unit or does it use the 1/8" compressor fitting i see to the right of the 1/4" fitting?

    1. This air pressure switch attaches to the compressor with the 1/4 inch male NPT fitting located at the bottom center.
