  1. Will these work in a standard air hammer/chisel?

    1. Yes, although it's not the right tool for it. Limited drive control. It's really easy to overdrive. With that said, that's what I used for a number of aluminum rivets.

    3. The rivet set kit includes tools that work with air hammers that accept a 0.401" shank.

  2. are these tools suitable for setting solid aluminum rivets in light aluminum plate as in aluminum boat repairs.

    1. Yes, that's what I used it for. I didn't use a rivet gun, used air hammer. If you go that road practice on a few first, it's easy to over drive. I just used a 5# maul as a bucking block.

    I ask because the description specifically states for aluminum rivet use. And I dont see another set that is for steel rivets.
