Product Summary

The AIMS Power Digital Clamp Meter measures wires, cables, and conductors in an electrical system without interrupting the circuit, letting you take readings on live conductors without cutting power or disconnecting anything. It measures AC and DC current, AC and DC voltage, frequency, resistance, duty cycle, diode, capacitance, and continuity, with True RMS accuracy for reliable readings on nonlinear loads. Auto ranging covers 0 to 600 amps and 600 volts, and the spacious jaw opens to 1.58in. for touchless current measurement around larger cables. The backlit LCD is easy to read in poor lighting, with audible warnings, polarity indication, over-range and low battery indication, Celsius or Fahrenheit selection, data hold, and automatic power off to preserve battery life. It carries a CAT II 600V safety rating with Pollution Degree 2 classification and 250V AC/DC RMS overload protection, and resistance open voltage is rated at 0.55V. The meter ships complete with a carrying case, test leads, and two AAA batteries.
