The hopper dimension would be 15" x 18". To remove the chute, you would disconnect the spark plug and remove the bolts securing the chute to access the rotor. For a deeper jam, open the rotor access cover to reach the blade area and turn the flywheel counterclockwise to clear debris. It would work well with dry stiff manzanita branches up to 4" in diameter. It may struggle with leafy, green or stringy manzanita shrub material, it could clog it.
