      Yes — the GXS1500i can run a portable air conditioner as long as the AC unit falls within the generator’s wattage limits. This model provides 1,500 starting watts and 1,200 running watts, so if your AC draws 1,200 running watts or less and its startup surge stays under 1,500 watts, you should be good to go. ~A-iPower Customer Support Team

    2. The generator has a surge watt rating of 1500 watts and a running wattage of 1200 watts. You will need to check the wattage requirement of the air conditioner to determine if this would power it. Amps times the volts would equal the wattage.
