  1. Once the mother is on, can the pump be turned on/off?  Secondly, is there a variable throttle or is it just at maximum power when it cranks.  Thanks

    1. You will be able to turn the flow of water on and off once the motor is running. It can not be off for more than 1-2 minutes. The unit does not have a dedicated variable speed dial to set it to a precise speed. It can be adjusted by manually manipulating the engines throttle lever.
