Towable Concrete Mixers
The lineup of towable mixers here comes from some of the most reliable names in the industry, BravePro, and Marshalltown.
In this selection, you'll find both electric- and gas-powered engines. Either engine type provides great torque for a towable mixer. Our gas units feature 8 HP or 13 HP, and our electric units include anywhere from 1 ½ HP to 7 ½ HP. Several units come with a Honda engine—either the GX270 or the GX240. This selection also includes a drum capacity from 6 cu. ft. to 16 cu. ft. in both the gas and electric models. Each towable mixer is designed to mix specific media: either concrete or mortar/plaster. These mixers include drums made of heavy-duty steel or polyethylene; weight capacities up to 2400 lbs., dispatch heights up to 24 inches; and mixing speeds up to 30 RPM, which can produce a batch a minute. With this kind of speed, you quickly realize the difference between mixing with a hand tool versus a motorized towable mixer. Each unit features either a ball or pintle hitch, and some offer a hitch type choice. For many units, you can also choose a unit with or without an outrigger. Most of these towable mixers include smooth-rolling 25in. tires for easy transport. Among this selection, you'll find a few stationary mixers that can be transported by other means to a job site. We also offer a 2in. ribbon mixer that can be used with a 3/8in. or larger variable-speed drill for 500–900 RPM. This ribbon is great for mixing drywall mud, paint, or exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS) adhesives and coatings. If you are planning a broad range of projects, big and small, you might want to supplement your towable mixer with a ribbon to put another option in your tool shed.
