  1. Anyone have an idea on the longevity of this product with reasonable care.

    This sander will be used on ceilings where there are larger jobs we need to get done. I want to know how well the vacuum system works do you need to stop and clean it regularly.
    Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

    1. I scraped a whole house pop corn ceilings and did all the various Sheetrock and mud in an investment house and this thing is a beast. It stays pretty clean but I have a habit of cleaning my tools after each use. I would def recommend. Only knock is it is a bit heavy at the end where you place the sander head and thats due to the motor being there. For the money, you cant go wrong.

    3. This is equipped with a 1 year warranty for defects or failures. Daily after operating it is recommended to clean the sander with a brush, dry cloth, or blow pressurized air into it. As long as it is properly maintained, the vacuum system should operate adequately.

  2. Where can you get additional sanding discs

    1. We offer a 12 pack that includes 60, 80, and 120 grits. The item # is 61532.

    2. Replacement disks are Northern part number 61532. 12 pack of disks
      Note they are center vacuum hole and not edge, the centers are better than edge holes. The tool will accept either edge or center hole design. Centers don't tear as easy as edge designed.

    1. This sander is not intended to be used with a grinding wheel, it is designed for use with sandpaper discs.

  6. I have a large carport with tongue and groove wood ceiling. The finish has been weathered since 1999. Will this work for sanding my wood ceiling? And if so, can I acquire the proper sandpaper?

    1. The sander is designed to sand drywall and plaster walls and ceilings. It is not intended for sanding tongue and groove.
