  5. Are locking pins for the shelves supplied and, if so, are they plastic or metal?

    1. No not needed

    2. The min shelf support rails slide into the upright posts without any positive lock (counts on gravity and friction). The cross-braces that support the wire shelves use nuts and bolts, and are just a bit intricate to put in place.

    3. The shelf will use metal slots on the end of each section to secure to the side posts. There would be no locking pins supplied as they are not necessary for this unit.

  6. Can you adjust the posts to sit on uneven foundation? Meaning 2 post at grade and the other 2 posts adjusted 4 inches higher. My garage has a 4 inch step up prior to entering the house from the garage.

    1. If the increase in elevation is across the 77" span then the following should be true: Since the braces are across the end posts, if the placement of the end uprights are level front to back and each end is on a level surface, you can adjust in 2" increments. But you lose the height of the top shelf on one end by the amount of the increase in elevation. Shelf spacing would have to be decreased so that the shelves would be level.

    1. Shelving mesh is right at 22 inches wide. The mesh is 2 inches by 4 inches.
