    My application is to transfer gas from 5 gallon cans to a boat. Would this device be what you recommend?

    1. I use it to transfer gas and diesel from 5 gallon cans without any problems. Just ensure that the receiving container has sufficient room to accept the entire contents of the supplying container. This tool will siphon every drop very fast. To stop the flow, simply lift the check valve out of the liquid.

    2. Yes, This will work and is better than using your mouth to suck the gas thru the hose.Just make sure you have the source of gas higher than the source your pouring gas into.

    4. the FloTool Siphon will probably be a little slow if you have very much fuel to transfer. You could use it to lighten the load in your cans, then pour the rest..

  2. Can this be used to siphon gasoline?

    1. We should have a review video being posted this week. It will have a good close-up of the front package so you can read details. The bottom left side of the packaging says "Antistatic brass tip for safe transfer of flammable liquids." Just hit the video pause button to read everything.

    1. Adding onto the hose is not recommended. It is better to buy a longer hose and replace the existing hose.

    1. This would not work for motor oil as the viscosity would be too thick.
