    1. This carrier does not include an upright to prevent the motorcycle from tipping. Ratchet tie-downs are not included with the carrier. You may purchase item number 332770 ratchet tie downs separately.

  7. How difficult is it to load the motorcycle or scooter?

    I have recently purchased a 150cc scooter and am hoping to buy a carrier that will allow me to travel in my Murano with my scooter. As a 51 year old woman (who handles said scooter!) how difficult is it to actually load the scooter onto this carrier? It looks perfect for my needs, so I am simply wondering about ease of loading and unloading. Thank you so much!

    1. This motorcycle carrier does require strength when loading and unloading. A second person is also required to help load and unload the scooter/motorcycle. Your scooter will need to be pushed up the incline of the ramp to load and slowly eased down the ramp when offloading. The second person helps to stabilize the scooter/cycle while it's being loaded/offloaded and tied down to the trailer. The ease of loading and unloading depends on the weight of your scooter and the strength of the people doing it.

  8. How wide of tire will the ramp hold? Does the ramp mount on both ends?

    1. The inside width of the ramp is 6.5". The ramp will only mount on one end of the carrier.

    We need to know how far the platform extends from the receiver hitch, due to spare tire on rear of motorhome
