  1. Must the cameras be hardwired or can they run off a rechargable battery.

    1. The cameras will come with an AC adapter to be plugged into an outlet. The receiver will need to be plugged into an outlet with included AC adapter and then wired to your audio and video of your TV or DVR. It will not work on rechargeable batteries.
