The Water Source frostproof yard hydrant features a shutoff valve that operates below the frost line to supply running water, even in the coldest weather. Cast iron head can be secured with padlock. Passes all Federal and State low lead standards (lead content <0.25%). Certified by IAPMO R&T Labs. Oversize shipping charge applies.

    1. This unit would work on an outside well pump. The pipe would have to be 3/4" in diameter.

  4. Can three hydrants 30 feet apart be connected to same water supply with a 90 degree galvanized "T" at the bottom instead of 90 degree elbow, or would it be better to run water line a foot or so away from connection.The Hydrant in the middle will be inside

    1. Yes, any type of tee or elbow can be used to connect three hydrants in line. The last one would have an elbow, and the first two connected with tees.

    1. This hydrant is not compliant with the laws of ca/vt which has to do with drinking water. This hydrant is not safe for dispensing drinking water. The hydrant is best used for watering or other purposes.
