Product Summary

Vestil Steel Adjustable Height Gantry Crane with Phenolic Casters is designed for transporting and positioning materials (Gantry crane is NOT to be moved while loaded). Solid steel construction will provide years of service. The casters lock the rigging in 1 of 4 positions; you can set the wheels and push the gantry crane forward, back, left or right.

Note: All products should be inspected frequently to insure safe operation. Final testing and inspection is left to end user after final assembly has been completed.

The listed beam height at its lowest is 6'6. Is that to the top of the beam or the bottom?

  From the floor to the bottom of the beam is a maximum of 121" and minimum of 79" . The maximum overall height from the floor to the top of the beam is 131 5/16".

Can I leave the wheels off to reduce the height a little ?

  The crane is not designed to be used without the casters. The casters lock for stability.

If the crane is "designed for transporting and positioning materials" then why does it say: "not to be moved while loaded"?

  The transporting and positioning describes the ability to move the object from one end of the beam to the other by the trolley only. Not by moving the entire crane.
