    1. This pump is designed for dispensing liquids such as acetone, MEDK and lacquer thinners. The seals are designed to work with these liquids.

  7. item 856773, does this come with a pick up tube and bung adapters

    also can this be used to pump gas and diesel. Is there a product manuel and parts list that can be downloaded

    1. The pump comes with the pick up tube and is designed to be used with a 2 inch bung size only. The parts list and product manual are available by calling Vestil or emailing them through their website. This cannot be used to dispense diesel or gasoline. It is ideal for dispensing acetone, MEDK and lacquer thinners. Please look below for a rotary pump that can dispense both diesel and gasoline.

  8. Can a garden hose be attached to pump?

    1. A standard 5/8" garden hose would not be able to be attached to the Vestil Manual Drum and Pail Pump. The end of the discharge will be a 1" barbed fitting, and may fit a larger hose. The discharge tube itself is detachable, and would have 1" threaded fittings, which could be attached to a 1" threaded hose.

  9. Is there any liquid that is not recommended for this item NOT to pump?

The Vestil Manual Drum and Pail Pump is not recommended to use with the following:ammonium chloride, aqua regia, bromine water, calcium chloride, chloracetie acid, chlorine water, ferric chloride, ferrous chloride, freon 12, hydrobrmic acid, hydrofluoric acid, sodium hydroxide, stannic chloride, and sulfuric acid.
