  1. My old 1997 wide cut has a cover for the deck exit port to allow mulching. Does the new wide cut have such a device to allow mulching ?

    1. Yes it does.

    2. The mulch cover must be ordered separately. It is part number TB631-04252. For pricing and availability please call the Northern Tool parts department at 1-800-657-0516.

  2. Blade Clutch?

    Does this mower have a blade clutch? If the engine is running does the blade always turn or do you engage the blade with a control lever? In other words, will the engine stop if I release a blade brake lever on the handle like most lawn mowers do?

    1. Yes, it has a blade clutch, motor keeps running, when blade clutch is released.

    2. There is a blade control handle which when held down engages the blades and when released the blades stop. This action does not not stop the engine. To stop the engine you turn the key to the stop position.

  3. Can you get a bagger attachment with this mower?

    1. This mower is designed to only be used for mulching or side discharge. There is not an option for a bag attachment.
