Product Summary

The Troy-Bilt Gas Pole Saw features a 7ft. extension pole with removable 26in. section that offers the freedom to work at different lengths for different tasks. This handy saw is powered by a 25cc 2-cycle gas-powered engine with SpringAssist technology and Prime, Flip Go for fast and easy pull starts. It comes equipped with a low-kickback 8in. bar and chain that cuts through limbs fast. When you're done with those branches, you can add optional TrimmerPlus® attachments (sold separately) to increase the unit's capabilities. Includes scabbard, 2-cycle oil plus bar and chain oil.

  1. Can I buy just the saw attachment?

    1. The end saw portion is not sold separately. The pole and saw only (model number TPP720) can be purchased through the manufacturer direct with out the gas head.

  2. is this an 8 inch chain also? and will any brand work?

    1. The replacement chain is an 8"/20.3cm, Troy-Bilt model 490-700-Y140. Other brands will work with this item as long as the specifications are met: 8" chain, 34 link, and 0.043 gauge.
