    2. The ball on the Tow Tuff ATV Weight-Distributing Dolly is replaceable with a hitch ball that has a 5/8'' stem. 2 5/16'' hitch balls include stems that go down to 1'' diameter. This dolly could not accommodate a 2 5/16'' ball.

  4. Is the 2" ball removable? My trailers utilize a different sized ball (1 7/8"), can the 2" ball be replaced with an 1 7/8" one?

  5. Hey, I have a unique application where I want to know how much space is between the wheels. I know that it has a 30" wheel base but I dont think that accounts for the width of the tires or not. Can someone please let me know the width between the tires?

  7. How stable is this with the trailer attached, but not attached to the ATV? i.e., will it "flip up" if it's not on the ATV?

    1. With a trailer or other towable attached, this dolly should be attached to an ATV/UTV or other vehicle so the dolly is stable. It will tip up due to weight if a trailer is attached and the dolly is not connected to an ATV.

  8. Would this tow an ice castle unto a frozen lake. GVW on ice castle is 3850

    1. This can be used provided the max tongue weight does not exceed 800 pounds. Extra caution should be taken if the lake terrain is rough or loose snow to avoid damage from the extra pulling and bumps which could result in higher tongue weight forces. Our item #61576 or #61577 would be a better option as they have larger wheels which will roll smoother over rough terrain resulting is less tongue weight forces on the dolly as well as easier pulling on the ATV or UTV.

    1. The 800 lbs. weight rating is the tongue weight of the trailer being pulled or maneuvered. It is important to keep in mind that this is not rated for highway use.
