    Could you mount it to a ceiling and point it down?

    1. Yessir. I just mounted my brackets to the ceiling joists pointing straight down. Mounted the fans blowing down at about a 45 degree angle. Works fine.

  6. Can be used Outdoors?

    I have a brick column that would not be completely under a roof, but mostly. At least all the motor would be under the roof. I want to place 2 of these in opposite directions on this column to oscillate around our new deck, but don't know how these will hold up being outdoors at all times.

    1. I wouldn't. The motor is not waterproof. If there is any chance of rain or high humidity reaching the motor it will definitely ruin it.

  7. What degree of oscillation does the fan go? i have a smaller shop and would like 45 degrees

  9. How loud is this fan at each speed?

    1. I have purchased two of these for my very large garage gym. They move so much air that I hardly ever have to turn them higher then the lowest speed. They are loud, but they go above and beyond in getting the job done!

    2. The manufacturer only tests the decibel level at high speed. This Strongway fan has a noise level of 68 decibels on the high setting.
