    1. The jack does come filled with hydraulic oil. Before using the jack, the user will need to perform the System Air Purge Procedure which can be found on page 4 of the product manual.

  6. Is it ready to use right out of the box or does it need fluid and bleeding first?

    1. Before the first use, perform the following System Air Purge Procedure to remove any air that may have been introduced into the hydraulic system as a result of product shipment and handling. This step is to be completed without any weight on the jack.
      1. Remove the cover plate.
      2. Turn the release valve counter-clockwise one full turn to the open position.
      3. Rapidly pump the handle 6-8 times. Leave the handle in the down position to expose the oil fill plug.
      4. With a flat blade screwdriver, push the oil fill plug slightly to the side to purge trapped air from the system. (Use caution not to tear or puncture the oil plug.)
      5. Replace the cover plate.
      6. Turn the release valve clockwise to the closed position.
      7. The jack is now ready for use. Check for proper pump action. (Repeat steps if necessary).

    1. The saddle making contact with a vehicle will depend on the vehicle height. For example, it will make contact with a car at a much lower height than it would with a truck. The lift range is from 3.35 inches to 24 inches.
