    1. This ram kit would only be compatible with hydraulic fluid. Any air trapped in the cylinder can cause issues during operation. The product manual will have instructions on how to purge the air out of the cylinder if that were to happen.

  7. Can a Gauge be added?

    Can I add a pressure gauge to the hydraulic pump? I see that Strongway has a separate pump listed with a gauge already installed, item 46278, with a 14.5Kpsi gauge. Or can I add a gauge? Not sure why Strongway does not include the gauged 10 ton pump with this set?

    1. The pump in this portable ram kit is not designed so that a gauge can be added. You would need to use a separate pump, such as item 46278, if you required use of a gauge.
