This Strongway high-position 2 ton tripod under hoist jack stand is designed as a means of partial support for, and the positioning of, vehicle components during their installation/removal, but not for use in stabilizing or supporting vehicles. It is for use only under a properly secured automotive lift.

  2. What is the range of height adjustment from the screw?

    I understand that the pin can move from hoe to hole for coarse adjustment. What I need to know is, what is the range of fine adjustment that you can get out of the screw?

  6. Please confirm Load capacity of ONE jack stand. Your product manual states several load capacities: "2-Ton" on first page, "1,500lbs" in Tech Specs (p2) and "Rated capacity is per pair only!", which indicates to reader as 750lbs/stand.

    Due to surface irregularities in the item we are intending to support, we would like to fabricate a custom cradle to slip on the end of the support shaft to replace the standard saddle.

  9. is it possible to put a "V" head (as an accessory) on the stand to support pipe instead of the flat one that is standard?

    I need to support 3" pipe and this tall stand would be perfect if I could swap out the flat head with a V head... everything else stays the same. If Strongway doesn't offer this accessory, do you know who does?

    1. This high-position jack stand is designed for automotive use to assist under car lifts. Northern Tool does not currently offer any different options for this jack stand. Modification to this product would void the manufacturer's warranty.
