    1. This jack can be raised and lowered manually with the handle. It can also be raised and lowered by connecting an air supply.

  4. What is the minimum height of the Jack with no adapter install? The minimum height listed, is that with the shortest adapter installed?

    1. The minimum lifting height is 8.44". This is without any of the adapters installed.

  5. How do you purge the air from jack prior to use

    1. The System Air Purge Procedure, as found on pages 9-11 in the manual, goes as follows:
      1. Connect air supply inlet to air source.
      2. Close the release valve by turning the handle knob clockwise until firm resistance is felt.
      3. When the saddle reaches Max. lift height, turn the handle knob counter-clockwise.
      4. When the saddle reaches Min. lift height, with a flat blade screwdriver, push the oil fill plug slightly to the side to purge trapped air from system.
      5. Close the release valve by turning the handle knob clockwise until firm resistance is felt.
      6. Jack is now ready for use. Check for proper pump action.

    1. This jack is operated manually by pumping the handle to raise the load. To lower the load, the release valve at the top of the handle is opened.

  7. Will this jack hold the load if the air is disconnected?

    1. This jack will not hold the load if the load was raised using air and then the air is disconnected. It will hold a load manually (using the pump handle alone) when no air has been used to raise it.

  8. What compressor flow rate do you need, ie CFM?

    My portable compressor will achieve 125 psi however its specifications indicate the SCFM drops to 3.5 at 90 psi, and I would guess continues to drop as pressures increase. Will this jack work with my portable compressor?

    1. This service jack requires a minimum of 7.8 CFM (SCFM) at 100 PSI. Your compressor doesn't provide enough CFM to operate this jack. Please see items 164049 or 75711 for air compressor recommendations that would work for your application.
