  1. can it spray 100% bleach for mildew siding?

    1. It's supposed to be viton seals and chlorine rated so in my opinion you should be safe, just rinse it out good after use. Consider using Jomax / bleach / water solution for heavy mildew, it does really well. If you really have bad mildew you can spray this on several times and it will eventually dissolve all the mildew and kill it.

    2. don't use 5% bleach for the siding. Use Jomax which will dilute with bleach and yes the product info says it is safe to use with bleach. We checked that out before purchase.

    3. It can be used with chlorine based materials. It cannot be use with 100% bleach.

  2. Is it possible work with a lower PSI setting or does it only work at 150 psi?

    1. It works at lower pressure. You just don't pump the handle as much to get the pressure up. The spray pattern doesn't come out and atomize as well as full pressure but it works.

    2. The pressure is achieved by pumping the handle on the sprayer. It will not work nearly as well at a lower PSI (or less pumps).

  3. CAN THE FOLLOWING SOLUTION BE USED IN THIS SPRAYER?

    I USE THE FOLLOWING SOLUTION TO PRESSURE WASH MY HOUSE. 3 QTS. OF WATER; 2 CUPS OF BLEACH; 1 CUP OF JO-MAX. CAN I USE THIS SOLUTION IN THIS SPRAYER WITHOUT CAUSING DAMAGE.

    1. I have this same exact sprayer, although my main use is roundup, I have sprayed soaps, and also Jomax/bleach solutions without any issues. It has viton seals which are chlorine rated. Like any sprayer, when you run it empty, clean it up with at least a triple rinse. Have had mine for years without one single leak issue. Awesome sprayer, especially when you find it on ebay for $60 b/c someone had it on display in a store collecting dust.
      FYI don't spray acid through this one, it's not acid rated, you'd need one that specifically says it's rated for that, and they cost more $$ too.

    1. No backpack sprayers or cylinder type sprayers are designed to handle petroleum based driveway sealer. You would need to go with a construction graded sprayer.

  6. What boom would I purchase with this item to reach 40" swath?

    I have a lot that is 1.5 acres and need to apply broadleaf herbicide in minimum time. What boom to you suggest?

  7. Purchased the SP2. Need to spray 25 ft. to reach the top side of my home. Which tip do I need to use ?

    1. The tip that should be used is one of the two .4 tips that come with the sprayer. To achieve that height you want to adjust the pattern to the straightest stream.
