  1. Is this hose flexible in cold weather?

    Other PVC hoses I have purchased have "coiled badly" in cold weather conditions. I want to use this hose replace a rubber hose on a retractable reel in an unheated machine shed.

    1. This hose does have an excellent flexibility under normal conditions, but absolutely could be compromised in extreme cold conditions. As a general rule, as temperatures drop, rubber and silicone products do retain flexibility properties much better than polymers (polyurethanes, PVC etc.). At temperatures nearing 32 degrees (or lower), you should expect any material to become brittle and easily compromised.
