  1. can hooks fit around a 2 inch bar

    need touse straps to lift wheel power chair into back of van- hoist already installed

    2. The hooks will not fit around a 2" bar. They will fit a 1" bar however. Anything larger we go around the bar and put the hook on the strap.

    4. No. They have 1 inch hooks. You could wrap around and hook the strap.

  2. Can these be used to tie down the tires of a small car?

    I transport a VW Jetta on a 16' flat bed trailer for relatively short distances. Can these be used to tie down the wheels?

    1. I would not use these. I would either use Cable come a longs, or at least a 2" strap.

    2. I would not use them to for that purpose. There is some stretching and minor slack created with these types of tie downs.
