    Is there a set screw to hold the 1/4 in. key from moving ?

  4. Will these work on an axle That has no slots for key ways

    My axle does not have key ways. It look like the hub would be held on with one bolt.

    1. you would need a keyed axle. they would spin on the axle fore sure with out one.

    2. It relies on a keyway in the axle in order for the "one bolt" (setscrew) to lock it into place

    3. These kart hubs only work with a 1/4 inch keyway.. You would need an axle that has 1/4 inch keyways.

  5. will this work for wheel hubs

    1. Use these for the rear live axel hubs and driven sprocket. You want to use Item# 13830 for the front wheels... Remember, they sell them in sets of two's so don't over order. Those have a bearing bore diameter of 3/4".

    2. The bolts are 5/16 of an inch in diameter, a 1/2 inch long, and 20 threads per inch.

  8. Where can I buy the lug nuts for these?

    they don't seem to exist anywhere

    1. The lug nuts have a 5/16" 20 TPI thread. Northern Tool does not currently offer these lug nuts separate from the hub. They would have to be purchase locally.

  9. So this just screws on to the axle and bolt the tires on?

    1. This hub slides onto a 1" axle with a 1/4" key and one set screw secures it to the axle. The tires bolt onto the hub. The inside of the hub is not threaded, it has a 1/4" keyway.

  10. What is the outside diameter of the whole thing?

    What is the "spinning" diameter of this hub - i.e. what is the diameter as measured from the outside to the outside of the 4 "petals". This is a different question than the bolt center distance.
