  • These Service Caster Series #KP30 Thermoplastic Rubber Donut Tread casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 4” Wheel: 5-5/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/2” mounting height; 6” wheel: 7-1/2” mounting height; 8" wheel: 9-1/2" mounting height.
  • Weight capacity ranges from 300 lbs on the 4” caster, 350 lbs on the 5”, 500 lbs on the 6” and 600 lbs. on the 8”.
  • Top plate measures at 4" x 4-1/2" with a bolt hole pattern of 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" to 3" x 3" and can either be bolted or welded on.
  • Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely, or a bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) that when inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle. Combining both brake types ensures complete immobility over both swivel and wheel on the caster.

The rounded face “donut” style soft tread is made of thermoplastic rubber that is non-marking, non-marring and provides easier mobility over standard flat tread wheels, resulting in a long lasting, high capacity wheel capable of easy rolling under heavy loads. Featuring a Kingpinless hot forged ASTM1,045 steel design that increases caster durability and integrity, the series KP30 eliminates problems associated with kingpin failure due to severe shock loading. In addition, the Kingpinless design features 3/8” diameter HRC45 steel ball bearings which absorb thrust and load in severe environments. Lastly, Service Caster’s Series KP30 casters are finely crafted with grease fittings, and 4 position notches to accept 4-position locks. These highly versatile casters are ideal for a wide range of applications, such as dollies, platform trucks, warehouse carts and freight terminals. Even drywall carts, welding carts, and wall panel carts will be ready to roll on the Series KP30, keeping you moving forward.
