  1. does the depth adjustment on the 4 inch versi cut lock tight or will it slip when your doing the cut and applying pressure on the handle

    1. It does lock tight and will hold while applying pressure to the handle, but if the saw is bumped hard or kicks back while pressure is applied the depth adjustment does slip some. I have not figured out a way to tighten up the depth adjustment lock yet. After making several cuts I stop to recheck the depth to ensure it has not moved, or if the saw has been bound up or kicked back or cut through nails or staples then I check the depth before making the next cut.

  2. can i cut angle iron with the versacut mini circular saw?

    1. No. Because it is not a heavy duty saw it cannot cut through angle iron.
