  1. how do i choose my length

    1. I approximate using the lengths of my chain saw bars as a guide.

    2. I usually get cord logs in 4' or 48" lengths. Divide that by three for fire place length and you should use the 16" guide. If you have a wood stove, like my sister, measure the max length log you can fit in the stove and use the guide that fits best or 14" for her.

    3. The kit comes with 3 sizes, 14", 16" and 18". You just use the one that will cut your logs in the length that your wood stove can hold.
