The Forgemaster double-burner forge is constructed of thick 12-gauge hot-rolled premium steel and features a heavy-duty welded 2-pc. clamshell design with a tough, durable powder-coat black-and-silver "hammered metal" finish. Heavy cast iron burners are permanently welded to housing top.

    What size is the unit and what would you mount it on?

    1. The footprint of this item is 19.5" long by 13.5" wide. The overall dimensions of the unit are 19.5" long by 13.5" wide and 15.5" high. The product is freestanding so it can stand alone.

    1. A 20 lb propane tank that is run 3 to 4 hours a day will generally last about 1 week.

  3. Can the orifice be changed to accept natural gas?

    I'm looking for an economical form of fuel.

    1. The forge can be changed over to natural gas. The gas company would need to be informed about the use of the forge. The gas company would supply the regulator and need to adjust the PSI accordingly.

    1. Yes, this Forgemaster does require proper ventilation. This does also include a manual.

    1. A 20 pound tank, same as used on a gas grill, will operate the forge. The connection is a POL fitting that comes with the forge. Most propane tanks today fit the POL it comes with.
