    1. This coil spring compressor is a universal tool and is not make/model specific. This tool is designed to handle springs up to 5 5/8" outside diameter and wire diameter of a maximum of 3/4". Do not, under any circumstances, use this tool to compress larger springs.

  5. What is the Diameter of the Threaded rod?

    I am thinking about using this to compress the Clutch on a Maxi Scooter. With a few Mods. A steel plate on the bottom for the backside of the clutch. And a "Cup" to compress the spring while still allowing me to turn the 46mm nut.

    1. The length of the rod is 12 inches. The width without the jaws open is 4 inches.
