    THAT IS SMOOTH SINE, OR SAWTOOTH CURRENT

    1. it's a modified sign wave (sawtooth) so not good for sensitive electronics or voltage modulated devices (dimmers).

  2. Will this run a 1500 watts electric heater

    Hi, I want to use this to operate a 1500 watt electric heater to heat a room in my home. Will this work? If not is there another system that I can use? Thanks

    1. This solar package is not designed to and should not be used to run a 1500 watt heater. Northern Tool does not currently offer a similar solar package like this one that is large enough.

  3. The 30 amp controller can handle 3 x 150 watt solar pannels for 450 watts. Can I hook this up to the 32 A DC terminal? It says 400 watts maximum

    1. The 30 amp charge controller is recommended for solar use only. It would not be recommended to be hooked up to the 32 A DC terminal.

    1. The Power Hub is 20" long x 14" wide x 14" high and does not require special ventilation.

    1. This solar package can run any electronic device that requires 1400 watts or less and that can be plugged into a 110 volt outlet.

  9. How do I connect a MC4 cable to the charge controller which requires a both a positive and negative lead wire?

    1. There are adapters available that allow negative and positive wires to connect to mc4 cables. Northern Tool does not currently offer these adapters. They would have to be purchased locally.

  10. what is the warranty on the batteries? Is there a different battery to use if you have a freezing issue?

    1. The batteries have a 1 year warranty. Northern does not offer a different battery for this unit.
