Product Summary

The NPower Flex Powerpack XL 6-in-1 Powerpack/Jumpstarter system with air compressor is an innovative power station that allows you to add your own battery. No need to throw the whole unit away just because the battery goes bad! Simply add a U1 or similar sized 12V battery of your choice to get started, then replace only the battery if needed. Unit will accommodate batteries up to 7 5/16in.L x 5 3/16in.D x 6 5/8in.H (sold separately), and because the battery can easily be replaced, you can even keep a spare on hand to change when necessary. NPower 12V, AGM-type sealed lead-acid batteries, Item# 829421 (sold separately), are designed especially for use with this unit. This versatile unit does it all, from jumpstarting a vehicle, to inflating a tire or other inflatables, to providing AC or DC portable power on the go. Features a built-in LED light so you'll never have to work in the dark.

  1. Will this run a water pump?

    I want to know if the inverter will run your water pump

    1. No I doubt it too much power is required.

    2. The inverter in this 6 in 1 powerpack would not be able to run the water pump. The inverter puts out 450 watts. The water pump at 4.5 amps and 120 volts would require 540 watts to run it.

  2. Will Compressor Hose Store Away w/U1 Battery

    If a U1 battery is installed in this unit, will the compressor hose store inside and the access door stay closed?

    1. YES, hose stores perfectly in unit with 35ah U1 battery installed, put the units manual in a zip lock sandwich bag and put it in there for stroage too!! see my review of the unit, all good for me

  3. Does the 24928 npower flex jump starter come with a charger for recharging the

    battery within the device?

    1. Yes, included charger worked well even with 35ah U1 battery installed

  4. Does the unit have an automatic shutoff to prevent internal battery damage when charging the unit?

    1. The included charger charged the UB12350 U1 battery adn switched to trickle charge mode when complete. Unit could be left plugged into included wall charger for storage and ready for use when needed according to included instructions and my experience with mine

    2. Yes, the NPower Flex Powerpack can be left plugged in without damaging the battery.

  5. How do you charge the battery in the powerpack?

    1. Use included wall-wart type 120vac charger and socket on unit marked "chareg port", it charges at 1/2 amp rate and automatically terminates and switches to trickle charge once battery is fully charged

    2. A charging cable included with the unit will allow you to recharge using standard household current.

  6. Can I charge the Power Pack using the Cars Cigarette Lighter Port?

    The owner's manual (for item 24928) says you can, but the previous question/answer says you cannot.

    1. I did not try to do so with mine becasue you would have to have a male plug to male plug ciggarette lighter socket type cord to do so but I do not see why it could not be done if needed

    2. Yes, you can charge this through the 12V outlet in your vehicle. You will need a DC-to-DC charging cable (not supplied).
