  2. How long of a tree can I cut

    1. The length of the cut is entirely dependent on the track or rail system the mill operates on. The manufacturer, Norwood, offers tracks, or you can use a suitable straight ladder.

  3. What size/bar length chainsaw will I need with this mill?

    1. The chainsaw and ladder are not included. Chainsaws of 50 CC or greater equipped with a ripping chain are recommended for small to mid sized logs. Chainsaws of 65 CC or greater equipped with ripping chain are recommended for mid to large size logs for a faster cutting speed. Maximum bar length will be 22 inches (56 CM).

  4. Does the Chainsaw come with it and what length does it cut.

    1. It does not include the chainsaw. It will cut logs up to 14" in diameter and can mill boards up to 8" wide. A length is not given.
