    what is the power source on the sprayer? Does the sprayer include a battery? I am talking about the 16 gallon 2GPM 12v sprayer Thank you

    1. The power source is your 12V lawn tractor battery. All clamps and wiring needed are included. Simply clamp to your tractor battery like you would a jumper cable and you are in business. Does not interfere with the start or operation of your tractor. When finished, easily unclamps.

    2. This NorthStar Sprayer runs off of a 12 volt battery. Most commonly, it is connected to the tow vehicle's battery with alligator clamps(included). A remote switch(also included) will allow you to turn the unit on and off while leaving it connected to the battery. Most lawn tractor/ATVs will use a 12 volt battery, so we recommend to double check yours. If yours does not, you would need to provide your own. You would be responsible for securing the battery somewhere on the lawn tractor

  2. We are looking at the North Star Tow behind tree sprayer. What is the power source? On your exploded view I see no battery nor a place to install a

    nor a place to install a battery on the trailer. I do not see any electrical leads to connect to the tow vehicle battery. We would tow this with a John Deere lawn mower. I have no idea the voltage on that battery but it is not 12v I am sure. In short explain the power source and where is it located.

    1. I have a JD. You will be able to hook up easily to your tractor's battery. Yes, it's 12v. All electrical leads and connectors are included with the sprayer. With your level of question, I would caution you that this takes reasonable handyman skills to assemble, understand and use. You should be ok, if you follow the directions carefully or get someone to assist you up front.

  3. Can I use this unit for spraying mosquitos? Is it a good use for this unit?

    1. The sprayer is approved for liquid pesticides only. It could not be used as a fogger.

  4. What accessories are required to add a spot spraying wand and a boom and how difficult is it to convert back and forth to the tree sprayer?

    1. There is a boom kit that is available for this sprayer. See link below for details. When switching between the spray gun and the boom sprayer, it is as simple as turning a valve. For spot sprayer applications the spray gun that is included with the unit will work, the pressure can be adjusted to suit your needs when using the unit in this manner.
