    Is this a threaded pump on the inlet and outlet ports?

    1. I checked with Northern Tool late August 2020 about the treads. As of that time they did not have the treaded version.

    2. The unit would use 3/4" quick connect ports. The minimum inlet and outlet hose size is 1/2".

  2. Will this 5.5 GPM pump fit and replace the original 4.0 GPM. Pump on NorthStar Portable Soft Wash and Disinfectant System 4.0 GPM Bleach Pump, Model #157140

    1. Using this pump in place of the 4.0 GPM pump on item 157140 is not recommended because it has not been through testing. The appropriate replacement pump would be item 157147.

  3.  An this pump be used with 12% chlorine

    1. This cannot be used with 12% chlorine. Never exceed 3% soft wash mix. Higher concentrations will increase the risk of damage to the sprayer.

    1. This pump should not be used to transfer any product intended for human consumption.

  5. What is the normal height this pump will spray?

    1. That will depend on the equipment it is used with such as nozzles and wand. Item #1572213 is a kit that includes this pump. With the included nozzles and wand in that kit, you can reach up to 30' high.

  8. What does the small allen head screw located on the head of the pump adjust?

    1. The black hex heads hold the pump head together, the silver hex heads hold the pump on to the motor. None of these provide any type of adjustment.
