  1. How does the bin open - top, front? Which way does the access door open - swing open to the front, to the back?

    1. Item #349306-2101 (silver finish) shows this box from the other side, and it's a little easier to see the lid.

    2. This Tradesman truck side mount bin opens from the top, it has a door that is reversible where the hinge can be put on either side so you can choose how you want it to open.

  2. It seems this toolbox is taller than wider in the picture, but the dimensions state it is 12 1/2" wide and 10 1/2" tall. Is it wider than taller?

    1. This truck tool box is 60-1/2" L x 12-1/2" W x 10-1/2" H. The main image is a bit deceiving, but it is 2" wider than it is tall.

  3. Does this product have gas shocks on the lid, and also does it have an off-set lid to allow the lid to be mounted next to a wall?

    1. The Northern Tool + Equipment Aluminum Flush-Mount Side-Bin Truck Box does not have gas shocks on the lid. The lid is not off-set, and would require 1-3/8" of clearance to open.

    Usually a sliding plastic tray for small tools.
