  1. Will it cut the top off of a plastic 55 gallon drum?

  2. How do you use this tool?

    I have two very experienced maintenance people and neither can figure out how to make this tool work. Is there an instruction sheet for this?

    1. no instruction sheet with the tool, but I didn't have any problem figuring it out and I'm the average Joe. The lug near the handle hooks over the top edge of the drum and the back part is next to drum under the lip . Turn the knob to snug up the shoe next to the barrel. There is another screw that takes the slack out of the tool handle , snug that up to , Too tight on either and you have loosen to move it along the edge. I found that after you pierce the drum head , the tool orks better if you make small cuts , instead of large. It takes a little time witha a little practice.

    2. 1. Place the nook of the deheader on the lip of drum with the blade on the outside of the lip, facing
      toward the drum.
      2. Adjust the position of the blade by using the black knob.
      3. Cut the drum lip using a "can opener" action.
