    need the kind with jaws...just wondering if they will be strong enough...

    1. Probably. These are not high quality pullers but harmonic balancers usually come off without too much trouble.

  2. What is the reach on these pullers?

    Need to reach a 3" bearing that is almost 7 inches from the end of the shaft.

    1. On this 3 jaw gear puller set, the reach on the pullers is as follows: the 3" puller has a 1-5/8" min and 3" max. The 4" puller has a 1-3/4" min and 4" max. The 6" puller has a 2-3/8" min and 6" max. The 8" puller has a 2-3/4" min and 8-1/2" max.
