This Mr. Heater Forced Air Propane Heater safely produces 30,000 to 60,000 BTU to take the chill out of the jobsite. Heats approximately 1,250 square feet. This rugged heater is easy to transport wherever you need powerful heat. You can choose from three heat settings to suit your needs. Proper ventilation is required; not for indoor use.

  5. Can this be hooked into the propane line that goes in to our house.

    My husband wants to use this heater in his garage/shop by adding another cut-off on the propane line that goes to the water heater & into the house, instead of buying bottles.

    1. Thank you for you inquiry. The unit is tested and is certified to be used with the hose and regulator that comes with the unit only. Unfortunately it cannot be hooked up to a separate line.

    2. Propane is always stored in tank containers or bottles. Perhaps you mean a connection to a natural gas line. If so, this heater cannot operate on natural gas. It must have propane as the fuel source.

    1. No. It only clicks when you try to light the pilot. After the pilot is lit, the unit is silent.

    1. Continuous ignition means once the heater is started it will continue to fire as long as the power cord remains plugged in to the electrical source.
